For the 2011 theater season, the Oakland Community Theater performed \u201cTrain to Danger\u201d by John Burkhart.\u00a0This old fashioned melodrama\u00a0was set in the 1890\u2019s when Railroad was “king” and villains were really rotten.\u00a0The classic battle between good and evil took place in the Oakland train station where the journey of Faith, Hope and Charity Pullman, along with their governess, is delayed by repeated breakdowns of the engine.<\/p>\n
